Raccoon Wreaking Havoc At The Off Grid Homestead

The raccoon has been back every single night now. He keeps wreaking havoc at the off grid homestead. He cant get the chickens anymore and seems to be angry with me. Its like well - if I cant have the chickens then I will make a mess of things.

He has dragged out the raccoon trap from underneath a pile of 4 foot long logs and took it out into the woods. He tipped over my chicken feed bin and partly dragged it away before getting the lid off and dragging off my chicken feed. This he did two nights in a row.

It has been very hot at the homestead and I am happy to have a 12 volt DC ceiling fan inside my tiny house.

The solar power is pumping into the tiny house on wheels though with all the sun shining. We have had quite a bit of sun recently and I am pulling in a total of 3,000 watt hours per day now.

I spread some pine shavings around the flowers and herbs in my rock garden. It looks good and will help maintain moisture. I will do the rest of the bed later.
