Setting Up Golf Cart Batteries In The Off Grid RV

I cleaned out the tiny house kitchen and removed the golf cart batteries that were under the kitchen counter. I put them into the old RV. They are back home where they started out.

These golf cart batteries are heavy. They weigh about 80 pounds each so I had to take breaks after every two batteries.

And the snow and ice on the ground made it a bit treacherous so I had to be particularly careful moving them between the tiny house and the RV.

For those of you who are new to this channel, I had an off grid solar RV. Then recently built my tiny house on wheels. I had moved the solar golf cart batteries from the RV to the tiny house and set them up under the kitchen counter to keep them warm.

Later I got a forklift battery for my off grid tiny house. So now I am moving the solar golf cart batteries back to the old RV.

The solar forklift batteries powering the tiny house on wheels should last about 20 years or more if properly cared for.

I plan to use the RV as an electronics lab and a guest home for visitors to the off grid homestead.

I connected my 45 watt Harbor Freight solar panels and charge controller up to the RV solar golf cart batteries to keep them topped off.

The other four badly sulfated golf cart batteries will be desulfated using my Bedini Motor. This is a radiant energy generator which is very good for desulfating old lead acid batteries.

Now I can put food, pots and pans under the kitchen counter in my off grid tiny house as originally intended.
