No Power At The Homestead And Putting Finish On Tiny Home Countertops O3

Tuesday I had no power in the off grid RV. The batteries are cold and there has been no sun I worked in the tiny house a bit and got the first top coat on the counter top.

In the morning it was very dark inside the off grid solar RV. After some cloudy days and only partial sun on the good days, I have low voltage in the battery bank. Since the nights are cold and the days are not exactly hot, the batteries are cooling down. My batteries do not like the cold at all. Below 70 degrees and I notice a loss in power capacity in these batteries.

I had to fire up the DC generator in order to process the videos for the day.

I put in some more trim on the loft of my tiny house. This strengthens the loft and ties in the boards which hold the floor. It also covers up the ends and looks nice.

I sanded the counter top in my tiny home most of the morning. This took a while to get it done right. Then I put on the first coat of polyurethane. It really looks good.

After that I was going to take a break for a while but I tried putting some mineral oil on the wall next to the window to see how it would look. It is amazing. I love how it brings out the colors and textures in the wood.

I will be using mineral oil on the entire interior of my tiny house.
