Busy Day At The Off Grid Homestead And Tiny House Construction O25

This was a very busy day at The Off Grid Project. I cut and stacked some wood, worked on the tiny house, cleaned up the yard some and more.

I was running around from task to task the entire day. I piled up the branches I had previously cut for fire wood.

I cut some furring strips that I will use upstairs in the tiny house. The furring strips can be cut using smaller pieces of wood because upstairs in the loft the ceiling is between 3 and 5 feet high.

I stacked the furring strips up for later use on a rainy day.

I worked on the tiny house solar power a bit. The charge controller is connected. Then I hooked up the solar panels to the charge controller.

I ran a 6 gauge wire through the entire tiny house, from the battery back, upstairs and then through to the opposite end. This will be my main power feed wire for 12 volt DC power. This line will run my LED lighting and 12 volt cigarette lighter sockets.

I plan to run primarily 12 volt DC in the tiny house. I will also have AC power for small appliances and tools as needed.

I ran some LED spotlights in the kitchen. Then I used a standard light switch to turn it on and off. This looks very nice. I left the wires hanging for testing and then went outside to turn on the power......
