Working On My Tiny House On Wheels

Wednesday I worked on the tiny home a bit more. John was not coming and it was a scorching hot day so I did not get very much done really.

In the morning I worked quite a bit on videos because I have been behind by a few days. I had some catching up to do on comments as well.

Late morning I went outside to work on the tiny house. John had just put in the rest of the front sheathing boards under the rafters the day before. I put in the blocking behind the seams first thing.

Then I went outside on a tall ladder and put in screws and nails to hold the blocking and seal off the seams. This was followed up with my favorite tar tape to totally seal off the seams from the elements and nature.

Sadly due to the extreme heat, after lunch I was not fit for work anymore. It was about 90 outside in the shade and over 100 inside the tiny house loft. This is way above my tolerance level.

When the house is insulated this will not happen anymore. I expect the tiny house on wheels to stay cooler during the day.
