Wind & Solar Power At The Off Grid Homestead

Watching the wind turbine spinning in the breeze and the solar power output of my off grid solar panel array. This is like off grid TV. When you live off the grid you watch the weather a lot and keep your eyes fixed on the battery and solar panel status all the time.

The wind turbine was blowing happily in the morning hours but then it calmed right down and it never moved again all day.

But it was a partly sunny day and that was great for solar panel output. I am still topping off my forklift battery bank which is connected to my tiny house solar power.

I got my truck back after a week in the shop. It has a brand new flex plate now. The cost was just under $500. It would have cost me nearly the same if I had done it myself. The tow costs 300 and the part around 100. Then I would have had to do the work myself outside in the snow and cold.

I love my old truck and literally thank God every single time I drive it.
