In this video, I discuss the New York Magazine interview with SEC head Gary Gensler, and the light that it shines on coming crypto regulation.

Only Bitcoin will qualify as a digital commodity, while all other altcoins will be found to be unregistered securities whose parent companies and foundations have been playing legal games and regulatory arbitrage.

Meanwhile, the very term "crypto" has been irrevocably tarnished.

By contrast, Bitcoin still has one of the strongest global brands around. Bitcoin will end up being the new global reserve currency and global reserve asset.
