Ok, so I dunked my car into a river and then stupidly instead of building chests to save my shit, I ran back to get another car, gambling my 'irreparable' vehicle would still be there and my gear would not be so damaged...

It was a total loss. When I went back I dunked the second car too and lost that, thankfully it was empty - then I found another car 50 feet away I could have pushed over to save everything...

So 20k later, I have resupplied with backpacks, thankfully I have tons of loot, so most things are replaced, and I have a ton of lockpicks. I only had to spend half my bank balance to ease the terrible pain of this un-quick-saveable disaster lol this game is cruel, and the first thing it did afterwards was ask if I want to kill myself lol

So I have been puttering around the farm, licking my wounds and trying not to kill myself on my own fence line. But with only 24 hours left on this killbox card, we have to get moving - so we are going in.
