1997 2nd Gen Lexus LS400 Renaissance. Failing Performance Issues Resolved . Fuel Filer & Solenoids.

After years of degradation of performance we did these operations. It would almost not climb a hill. Smoke test for intake leaks leading to CEL's & codes.... no leaks. Drained fuel cell/tank and installed a Toyota/Lexus fuel filter and discovered an aftermarket one that was clogged. Drained gearbox/transmission to install new filter and clean all four solenoids in an ultrasonic. Motor oil & filter change. We also changed both roto-flex fittings on the driveshaft and discovered a minor click in the center bearing area and I don't think it is the u-joint. A test drive after all this work and the car is back to the powerful V8 it was! Shifting better and Unbridled power!
