SUN BEING AHEAD AND BEHIND CLOUDS

How is this possible if the sun was 93 million miles away from us??? The fact is that, the sun is not millions of miles away from us, but rather it's small and local which acts like a spot light. There is a possibility that some clouds are as high as the sun, therefore you see coulds infornt and behind the sun.
