There are a lot of low power variable optics out on the market these days, but Nightforce has done something pretty awesome with the NX8 1-8 Rifle Scope.

They have managed to create a really compact and light weight scope, but at the same time, something that spans 1x power up to 8x power. That is significant since most optics top out at 6x power at the moment.

Additionally the Nightforce NX8 1-8 is a first focal plane scope. While a lot of people don't care for FFP on low power variable scopes, the reticle in the NX8 lends itself well to the application. Not to mention the incredibly bright illumination settings.
