I get asked this question a lot about autism and dating, like can autistic people date? And stuff like, what happens if two autistic people date?

Well what can i tell ya! Yes indeed autistic people are very much capable of love and romance and can / will / do date.

It's not that difficult to imagine. However I understand the reason for the question and i have more to ad than just yes.

Relationships are built on common ground, wether that is friends to romantic partners. Autistic people will have many things on common with neurotypical people which makes for a good match.

But more interesting, autistic individuals who meet other autistic individuals will find that they have lots and lots of things in common, and most importantly understand the emotional difficulties within each-other which is super important.

This means autistic love between autistic people can blossom into something super awesome and super fun.
