What if the Sphinx Was Originally a Dog? 🐕 #shorts

Faust Checho breaks form the theory that the Sphinx was originally a dog, more specifically a giant statue of Anubis the famous Egyptian God of Death.

This would make a lot of sense given Egyptian architecture’s reputation for depicting the relationship between the gods and humans. Furthermore with many ancient people in the region being known to deface stone statues for materials, it could be possible that the statue was remade into a statue of the next ruler Pharaoh Amenhotep II.

It would explain why the proportions of Anubis so perfectly fit the structure of the famous Sphinx but with no evidence out there, the truth will forever remain a mystery.
