Swat 4 (PC) Gameplay -No Commentary-

I installed this game from the disk version I bought around 15 years ago, and it worked great the first time, but I haven't been able to get it to run since. It keeps giving me an error message where it thinks the GPU has less the 32 MB of ram. I got it to run for this gamepay sample. This is just the instant action level which is more like a demo of the game within the game.

I am also testing out new video editing software, and 4K resolution. I don't even have a 4K display, so I can't see what the quality is. if it looks bad at 4K, let me know. I didn't do anything to upscale the footage before I put it into my editor, so this is the raw footage upscaled through my video editor. If it looks bad, or fuzzy, let me know so I can figure out if I need to upscale the lower rez footage first before I use it in my editing software.

I really like this game. I think it's a great game. I've never played all the way through it, because the Alienware computer I bought with my 2005 tax return money went kaput before I ever finished it, so I never got to play all the way through it, or it's expansion SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate which came with SWAT 4 when I bought it. Great series though. I miss oldschool tactical shooters. They are different from the Modern FPS subgenre, because they emphasized tactics, and a slower, but more intense experience. Modern shooters are more high-strung, whereas tactical shooters were incredibly nerve wracking, and intense.
