For most of us, coming to a country like Nicaragua brings a big challenge in understanding what things are really like due to the extreme differences in context and life experience between where we are and where we are coming from. While no one can simply make another person's context obvious or known, some critical thinking and empathy can go a long way to bridging the gap. It's time to think about just how different our experiences are and how that explains so many differences in communications and more.
