Door Dash Driver Demands Bigger Tip, or Else!

The headline from the New York Post grabbed my attention - DoorDash driver refused to hand over food after patron gives her $8 tip. She even threatened to take the order back to the restaurant!!

Yes, it's a crazy story. But it's more than that. It's a spectacular example of what is happening in society. People who think they deserve because, well, they think they do.

They don't want to earn it. They don't want to work for it. They just want something given to them, anytime they demand it.

As Gabrielle Zevin wrote in her book "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow:"

"If their traumas are the most interesting things about them, how do they get over any of it."
