When Compassion is used against you

Erin Friday is a San Francisco attorney and a member of Our Duty, an international group that opposes transgender ideology.

Listening to Erin and her story is truly heart-wrenching. A self-confessed San Francisco Democrat, which is telling because the San Francisco Democrats are shaping the political and ideological picture for the rest of the country.

Admittedly she said she was voting for people and policies that she thought would make life better for those in a difficult position. She later had the system used against her, and those people and policies were not compassionate but manipulative. Her daughter was 11 years old when she noticed a "transformation" happening. It wasn't the transformation of a typical teenager going through the growing pains of life but of something else. Erin describes those stages and a child's progression as influenced by an education system and societies whose intent may have started with Compassion but has exceeded the boundaries of understanding and proceeded to obsession.

Erin is now fighting the system she admittedly supported, seeing the consequences firsthand. It is interesting to watch because Erin is attempting to fight a rigid and cold machine with the same Compassion that created the system she is fighting.
