October 28, 2011 - Todd Rundgren is Grand Marshal of Indiana University Homecoming Parade

The students voted, and their choice for grand marshal of the 53rd annual homecoming parade at Indiana University was Todd Rundgren, the musician and innovator. The event took place on October 28, 2011. A year earlier, Rundgren had served as a visiting professor at IU. After the parade, Rundgren joined the Marching 100 in an impromptu performance at a pep rally.
