VP Kamala Harris on Why Conservatives Are Bad
Vice President Kamala Harris was speaking at an event in Colorado yesterday, and she decided to take the opportunity to reveal how much she can’t stand conservatives. The Vice President relayed her disdain through what she called a “very simple” – and I might add factually suspect – anecdote about how she allegedly asked her mom why conservatives were bad.
Once again, the Biden Administration continues to fall far short of President Biden’s election promises of unifying the country when the Vice President cackles as she labels HALF OF AMERICANS as bad people.
It’s difficult not to draw comparisons to Hillary Clinton when she called Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables.” The arrogance, the entitled attitude, and the disdain for those they view as beneath themselves are just seeping from their lips. It’s fine to disagree and to engage in constructive discourse – it’s how we reach compromises to serve the most people. But for a politician – a PUBLIC SERVANT – to just flippantly call those they disagree with “bad,” or even “deplorable,” should probably disqualify them from the job.
It’s worth noting how Vice President Harris also touted and even took some credit for a new technology that allows scientists to take satellite images of the earth and track water. All due respect, Madame Vice President, but that’s not exactly new or newsworthy information. We’ve had globes a bit longer than we’ve had satellites, and yet the water has always been literally painted on them. We know where it is – the problem is making it safe and getting it to areas that need it. Perhaps that’s what this Administration should be focusing on, rather than rediscovering what we already know.
Harris also seemed to feel some kinship to the origins of the conservation movement in the United States, as she credited California’s Bay Area, coincidentally where she is from, as a birthplace of the environmental movement. The problem is the conservation effort in this country began with Republican President Teddy Roosevelt. I don’t want to split hairs, but if you’re going to demonize half of the country, you might want to get your facts straight. One thing seems more and more like a fact: Bipartisan governing is an endangered species. The Biden Administration continues to demonstrate blatant contempt for conservative Americans, and they’re not even trying to hide it anymore.
Today’s full Sekulow broadcast includes more analysis of the Vice President’s latest disturbing comments, this time casting aspersions on every conservative in the United States with a sardonic grin.
