Kyrgyz entrepreneur Adyl Gaparov is making a buzz with his country's first cricket farm, which has reared a million and a half edible insects in the past three years, producing protein-rich flour for animal feed or as a snack; investors were initially unsure about the idea, but foreign customers are now taking a keen interest, and Adyl hopes to attract interest from the Kyrgyz government, as cricket farms "can create hundreds of thousands of jobs."
