Messi and Mbappe train with PSG at the Allianz Arena ahead of Bayern Munich Champions League match

Paris St-Germain trained without Neymar on Tuesday ahead of their UEFA Champions League last 16 second-leg match against Bayern Munich.

The Brazilian will now miss the rest of the season as he prepares to undergo ankle surgery.

However right-back Achraf Hakimi was present at training and is set to play on Wednesday for the first time since French prosecutors formally launched an investigation into an allegation of rape.

The club backed Hakimi, who denies the accusation, in a statement last week.

Kylian Mbappe was in good spirits during training, just three days after he scored against Nantes in Ligue 1 to etch his name into their record books as the club's all-time top scorer with a total of 201 goals.

PSG trail Bayern 1-0 following the first leg in Paris last month.
