On the cover of your newest car magazine is a claim that beggars belief. A car that inexpensive putting down performance numbers that impressive? Anyone can afford it?!

You rush to the dealer and place an order. A few months later the car arrives and its your new favorite thing. After the break-in period, you take the car out to a deserted back road and do just what the car manufacturer did during the test...disable this, enable that...hold your foot on the throttle, sidestep the clutch...the car tears off down the road at incredible speed...Mind Bending speed...right before the transmission explodes from the forces involved.

A tow truck takes the car to the dealer for warranty inspection and to have the transmission fixed. The tech connects a scan tool to the car to look for codes the troubleshoot the issue...there is a quick huddle with the service advisor in the back...and then the news. Your transmission is broken, and its NOT covered. You did exactly what the manufacturer did to get the performance they promised you, which logged a code in the ECU and instantly voided your warranty. The bill for a new transmission is $25,000.
