AFU stronghold seized by Russian Airborne Troops

During the advance of forward units of the Airborne Troops, well fortified strongholds of the AFU were uncovered.

Reconnaissance units and unmanned aerial vehicle crews uncovered enemy positions and relayed their location to artillery units for firing. After the artillery fire strikes, the positions of the Ukrainian formations were taken by assault groups of Ivanovo and Kostroma paratroopers.

During a massive fire attack from artillery and mortars, as well as direct contact with airborne assault units, the defending AFU units suffered significant losses and were forced to abandon their positions and retreat, hurriedly abandoning weapons and Western-made equipment as well as the bodies of their dead comrades.

Paratroopers have occupied more than five platoon strongholds, destroying between 15 and 20 Ukrainian defence personnel in each of them and capturing two men during the day.
