Billion Dollar Limited (1942)

The film starts with the shipment of a billion dollars of gold to the US mint on a train, which is being guarded by armed police officers. Lois Lane boards the train, while Clark Kent has another story to cover. A group of robbers attack the train, and Superman comes to the rescue. He manages to guide the train back to its main course, catch the train as it falls from a demolished bridge, and stop the train at the US Mint. The Daily Planet reports the successful delivery of the money and the capture of the robbers. Clark and Lois discuss Superman's heroics.
