Sara and Jeff Cummings are lounging in their bed, when Jeff hears strange dripping sounds coming from the bathroom. Irritated, he decides to investigate to find a leaking faucet that he turns off. But the sound returns, and Jeff returns to shut off the faucet once again. However, the dripping continues even after he has closed it twice. The couple goes to inspect and finds the faucet running full blast on its own.

Finally, Jeff turns off the main water supply line, hoping to resolve the issue tomorrow with a plumber. In bed, the noises get louder and more aggressive. Now the tub is overflowing with water, and Jeff struggles with the valve, but manages to stop the torrent, but not before water spills everywhere.

Concerned about water leaking onto their neighbor below, they inform their landlord about the water issue and find their neighbor, Mrs. Flores, passed out on the floor. She had a heart attack while drawing a bath, and the Cummings' strange water anomalies allowed them to find her in time to save her life.
