3/10/23 card: strength

As the saying goes, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. It’s been a challenging 12+ months in my world (stepdad diagnosed with cancer and then died suddenly of a stroke, mom diagnosed with early dementia, managing mom’s finances and healthcare while trying to get her house ready to sell so I can move mom closer, new manager at work and all that comes with that, loved ones struggling, lots of maintenance issues with our home, etc…). There have been moments when I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t formulate a sentence. I cling to my daily gratitude and journaling practice and look for moments of peace and solitude to recharge. I am determined to come out stronger.
