China demands US to return Afghanistan's national assets

8 Mar 23 China’s deputy permanent representative to the UN, Geng Shuang, said that unilateral sanctions on Afghanistan have exacerbated the economic and humanitarian situation of the country.

The sanctions have become heavy shackles impeding the survival and development of local women and children, he said, adding that they must be lifted immediately.
