1st Training Visit with Tater

We recently took our first trip back to Mississippi to check on the training progress with our new Lab puppy, Tater. We had taken her back to Mossy Oak Kennels in West Point, MS about 4 weeks previous to start her initial training. Our goal is to not only hunt with her but also run her in AKC and HRC hunt tests like we did with our previous lab, Jetta.

It had been a while since we done any work with handling a dog in a hunt test situation so it may be a little bit to get back in the swing of things. Mossy Oak also has a little different training style than we had been accustomed to so we'll have to work on adjusting to some of the new commands, etc. Looking forward to the journey again!
