Our Founding Fathers knew that eventually our own government could become tyrannical, and turn on its own citizens. That's why they designed a system of government that allows the states to peacefully disengage, refusing to cooperate with the enforcement of federal laws. This brilliant check and balance system is at the heart of the Second Amendment Preservation Act, which is why the Dorr Brothers are working so hard to advance SAPA across the country, including here in North Carolina.
