There is an idea floating around the internet that your Ex will come back when you have moved on. It isn’t a necessarily helpful idea and isn’t based on any real data. When your Ex breakups up with you it can feel like they will only think about you when you don’t want them.

No Contact and personal growth can help you greatly when you are going through a break up. During this time, it is only natural to wonder if your Ex is thinking about you. During a breakup we try to mind read what our Ex is thinking and feeling; sometimes it seems like we are searching for the worst thing to happen. A common fear is that your Ex will come back when you have moved on!

Rory explains that the truth is your Ex comes back (IF they come back) when you least expect it. Moving on from a painful relationship doesn’t mean you don’t think of your Ex attractively. Attraction comes when you give them the breakup, back away, don't contact them, and focus on making yourself calmer and more attractive through self-work.

Exes come back when you’ve moved on depending on how you define “moved on”. For some people it means you no longer want them romantically. Other people define moving on from an Ex as being at a point where they are indifferent but might still take your Ex back. Let’s discuss if your Ex will come back as soon as you move on!
