Ryan Graves is a retired U.S. Navy fighter pilot who has gained notoriety recently as a Gimbal Witness. As a Gimbal Witness, Graves reported and documented several encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) while a Navy pilot. In 2019, he was one of several pilots who spoke publicly about their experiences with UAPs, bringing renewed attention to the phenomenon and sparking discussions about the need for more excellent investigation and disclosure.

Graves served as a Navy pilot for over a decade, flying the F/A-18 Super Hornet, and completed multiple tours of duty overseas. He was awarded several commendations for his service, including the Strike/Flight Air Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Since retiring from the Navy, Graves has continued to advocate for an increased investigation into the UAP phenomenon and has been featured in numerous media outlets discussing his experiences. His expertise and insights have been sought after by both mainstream media and the UAP research community, making him a prominent figure in the ongoing discussion about the nature of these enigmatic objects.
