BEFORE becoming the creator of the oddest-looking condiment this side of the now discontinued Heinz EZ squirts like Funky Purple, Awesome Orange, and Stellar Blue -- popular TikTok influencer Chef Pii was born Veronica Shaw on February 7th, 1993, hailing from Miami, Florida. Shaw began her journey with cooking at the age of just eight-years-old. Heavily inspired by her grandmother and great-grandmother, these two women raised Veronica after her mother’s tragic passing when she was little more than a month old. Growing up in the kitchens of her Latin, Caribbean, and European friends, Shaw kept a close eye on the tastes and habits of a whole bunch of different cultural cuisines. Then, as she grew older, she considered entering the medical profession. Following a stint in nursing school, her closest friends sat her down and asked her why she wasn’t seriously considering a career as a chef. In 2018, they finally managed to persuade her to give her side passion a try.
