AFTER being heralded as one of Memphis’ most promising and potentially best Emcees to come around in a very long time, rapper Pooh Shiesty finds himself facing the next five years of his life behind bars after getting into a series of violent confrontations. But prior to all that, Pooh Shiesty was born Lontrell Williams on November 8th, 1999 in South Memphis, Tennessee. As the son of former rapper Mob Boss – the founder of Mob Tie Records and a very imposing local force in the industry – Shiesty grew up feeling destined to become just as famous as his dear old pops. Throughout his entire youth, Shiesty’s dad was there for him to offer advice on everything from personal issues to business. And, of course, he also taught his son how to appreciate the very best that rap music has to offer. On the opposite side of things, Shiesty’s mother gave her young son something just as important – the name he’d come to be known by. In point of fact, she began calling him “Pooh” from the time he was still in her stomach.
