During the course of their conversation, Tory would also drop hints that labels immediately stopped returning his calls after what happened with Megan, that award shows refused to nominate his work, and that sponsorships had pulled longstanding endorsement deals as well. But it makes my heart fill with joy when I look back at that album and see that without any playlisting, it has 170 million streams on it." Tory is referring to an album he dropped about a year ago. Going strictly by sales number, “Alone at Prom” would be Tory’s least successful album of his career, but does that really mean he was being blackballed?
