“Surprise Witness” Shocks Swamp Creatures!

Archive Flashback (7/3/22). The January 6 committee brought us a special surprise this week when they revealed a mysterious secret witness! It turned out to be Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide for Mark Meadows; then President Trump’s Chief of Staff. After getting sworn in, she proceeded to share her incredible testimony about events from the Capitol that day. While exciting and even explosive at times, her story was not exactly a direct accounting of anything. There were also immediate refutations from even more prominent witnesses. Will this damning bombshell live up to its hype? Or was this all for political retribution against Trump in a highly partisan show trial?
