Tu-22M3 bombers strike near Afghan border

Four long-range Tu-22M3 bombers have bombed "insurgents" near the Afghan border. The flight was conducted during Russian-Uzbek training exercises in Uzbekistan near the Afghan border. The bombers took off from an airfield in Saratov region and attacked simulated camps of militants and ammunition depots at the Termez training range. They were covered by two Uzbek MiG-29 fighters.
