For courage and valour: servicemen from the Western Military District receive state decorations

On the front line, military personnel from the motorised rifle division of the combined-arms army of the Western Military District were presented with state decorations for the acts of courage, bravery, and selflessness shown during the special military operation.

🎖 Orders and medals were delivered to the battlefields and personally presented to the motorised riflemen, tankmen, and reconnoitres by the commander of the combined-arms army of the Western Military District. The awards included the Order of Courage, Medal for Courage, St. George Cross, 4th Class, and Medal of Suvorov.

💪🏻 The unit leaders, who were presented with state awards, organised a competent defence and repelled an enemy attack in one of the areas in the special military operation. The retention of their positions enabled the main forces to exploit the success of the offensive in other directions.
