RI Rep. Kislak Introduces Insane H5549 That Would Eliminate Fossil Fuel Lawn Equipment From EVERYBODY by 2028

Rep. Kislak introduces H5549 which would eliminate gas powered leaf blowers by 2028 and then moves on to ALL gas powered lawn equipment.

She claims that she receives numerous calls on the noise level of gas powered leaf blowers in the city of Providence which is noisy in its own right.

So, what’s the real reason for this bill? Is it to make Providence quiet or to look for low hanging fruit first before moving on to the elimination of all fossil fuel powered equipment and vehicles?

She gives mention to the tack that California is taking. This alone should explain all.
