DEFEATING REAL HATE WITH GOD’S LOVE

44 [a]But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!
Anyone remember these little phrases from over the past couple of years: “Hate has no home here”, or how about “Love Trumps Hate”? I sure as anything do, and I'll be honest I found them annoying. I was recalling them, while not only reading this morning's passage of scripture, but also after seeing the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share those questions with you tonight. Please read these questions VERY carefully, and I pray that God will open your eyes to this issue.

In your life, what leads you to see others as enemies?

This question really got me, because what leads me to see others as enemies, is either something I hear about them or see about them on TV, or in some other manner. I've had to learn to ask God to reveal to me who that person really is, before I make an assumption about them. I strive to make my judgments in this area, based on their actions as well as their words, and not on what I'm told about them.

What I'd like to do right now, my friends, and share some things that God showed me from his word this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I say, will truly convict your heart. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will get you to think about your attitude toward others, and what you consider hate. Most of all, that God will challenge you to know the difference between real hate, and race baiting.

What changes can you make to confront hate with Jesus’ love?

I challenge you all tonight my friends, to really think about the difference between real hate, and faux outrage hate, race baiting, and the lies that people tell you that leads you to believe something is hate when it isn't and ask God to help you know the difference between real hate and phony. Remember that we are taught to love our enemies as Christ taught us in His Word, but we are also taught to stand against sin. My prayer is that we learn the difference, and that we defeat what Satan is trying to do in this area, with the love of Jesus. Choose to show God's love over real hate, so that it has no home in our lives, but that others will see Christ Jesus in us.
