ENSO Neutral Season and What It Means for the Great Lakes -Great Lakes Weather

According to the Climate Prediction Center, we anticipate an end to the La Nina season and will enter a brief ENSO-neutral phase, where Pacific ocean temperatures will remain relatively normal. Historically, this does mean a more elevated potential for tornadoes in Michigan, but not every season is the same. As jet stream winds strengthen due to an incoming El Nino season, CPC provides what that means for overall severe potential and climate.
