Interview with Bernard Gaynor who organised the protest today outside Logan City Council.

Concerned Logan parents and Bernard today called on Mayor, Darren Power, and the Logan City Council to remove pornographic material being loaned to children by Logan libraries.

Library staff (with Blue Cards) are loaning child exploitation material to our children. These are disgusting books that have been purchased with ratepayer dollars.

Logan City Council have been "investigating" the books now for three weeks. It should have taken the council only five seconds to realise the depravity of the material and refer it to the police. As it is, Queensland Police have now begun their own investigation into the books.

Only this week, Amazon Australia (and other booksellers) have stopped selling banned child exploitation material, after Bernard notified police, the book companies, and the media.

Incredibly, the federal government have been collecting GST revenue on the sale of these banned books.
