HOW TO SELF ADMINISTER COVID TEST AT CVS

In this video I provide you with several helpful tips to increase your odds of getting your COVID-19 test results back in a timely manner.

These tips include:
Bring:
Photo ID Confirmation Code
Insurance Card
Social SS # if no INS

Minors 15 or younger be accompanied with adult
DON’T GO INTO BUILDING
GO THROUGH DRIVE THRU

Give Confirmation code to person and ID if they ask for it.

Make sure test tube has a label with your name and DOB
AND that there’s an order form inside the bag that MATCHES your name and DOB. DO NOT KEEP THAT PIECE OF PAPER PUT IT IN THE BAG.

Insert nasal swab 1 inch into nostril. Push straight back not upwards. Rotate swab for 15 seconds in a circular motion

Repeat on other side.

Place swab into vial and break off

CLOSE THE LID TIGHTLY. ZIP THE BAG CORRECTLY.

Put lab and order form in the specimen bag

DROP IN BOX.
