Are Modern Consoles Worth It? Is a PS5 or Series X Worth It?

PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One games are compatible with the PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X. Is it worth upgrading to current generation consoles? In most cases, the answer is probably, "no." My kid plays the PS4 and Xbox One all of the time. He rarely plays my Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Should you upgrade?
