As far as I could tell the problem is facebook. It is no longer compatible with the older version of Internet explorer

If for some reason your account won't log in try this.

Double click at Your IE icon to open it

Go to www.facebook.com and log in your account

Now run your rules of survival and log in your facebook account

Ros will detect that you are already log in via facebook
