Owl Found Aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship On Two-Week Trip

A burrowing owl that accidentally stowed away on Royal Caribbean International's Symphony of the Seas for two weeks was rescued by a team of biologists and crew members after being spotted by passengers on the ship.

The owl was safely removed from the balcony of a 10th-story cabin and transported to the South Florida Wildlife Centre for a health check.

Rescuers then released the bird back into the wild and reminded citizens to be mindful of the presence of animals in their surroundings.
