📌This nationwide movement of protest was triggered both by Macron recent decision to use the Article 49.3 of the Constitution to pass a very unpopular liberal bill reforming the pension system. But the protest movement is also fueled by a bigger feeling of anger due to the very bad economic situation in France following COVID-19 measures and the inflation caused by the sanctions in the context of the war in Ukraine.
