While there are a lot of QD (Quick-Detach) Sling Swivels on the market, most are push-button. The Blue Force Gear R.E.D. Swivel takes it in a different direction. The R.E.D. stands for Rapid Emergency Detachment, and it does just that.

It allows you to quickly and easily remove your sling from a QD socket on your rifle. Whether you need to get the gun off of you or just move the location of your sling point, perhaps going from a 2 point sling to a 1 point sling, this will help you out.
