This video is for edutainment around the topic of demo singers having their voices used on final versions of songs with little to no credit. Our hope is to spread awareness of songwriters, producers, and all the people who work incredibly hard behind the scenes of music. A solution for this is to have an additional credit added on all platforms that reads: "Additional Vocals" , "Performed by", or "Vocals by" - this would be on all platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Amazon, etc)
At the same time, a lot of artists like to keep original emotion that was in the demo song and the songwriters having their voices being used on the final must be amazing for them not only for their career, but for future projects. As well as having the confidence to release music themselves. It's difficult to give every person credit for art, but this video asks the question, should we? You let me know what you think.
