Random Rants: The DCU Reboot Fallout Begins! Shazam 2 Is A Box Office DISASTER!

It looks like DC Studios is taking its medicine for James Gunn's reboot, as expected. The 2023 slate was doomed from the start thanks to the shake-up and reboot of the DC universe, and the sequel to the 2019 film, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods is its first casualty. A lackluster $11.7 million in the Friday box office spells bad things to come for the rest of 2023, where The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman await their turn to become DC box office flops.
