Before Anthony Edwards would leap out of the gym and impress basketball scouts all over North America, leading the Anderson Holy Spirit Prep High School team. Before Anthony Edwards would be drafted with the Number One overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2020 NBA Draft. Anthony just turned 19 this past August and the kid has got the world at his feet after being ranked the number one draft pick for one of the most popular sports leagues in the entire world. This former Georgia guard is about as talented a finisher at the basket as you can find in his age bracket and his game should be well-suited for the plug-and-play style that the majority of the NBA is trending towards. Kendrick Perkins even compared him to two of the absolute best guards that are currently in the league and perennial MVP candidates, James Harden and Russel Westbrook.
